Bonus weeks (Also known as ‘Getaway Weeks’ or ‘Extra Vacations’) are additional weeks offered at a discount to timeshare owners at the resort. Bonus weeks are typically only offered as a sign-on bonus however some resorts may offer them post-sale.

Bonus weeks can be a win-win situation for both the owners and the resort. Owners have the opportunity to spend additional time at the resort, at a discounted rate.  Resort operators stay out of the red by taking in additional income from unsold developer owned weeks.
