Time share inheritance

0 votes
My father recently passed away. He owned a time share in Arkansas. He owed no money for the time share. All yearly dues have been paid.  The warranty deed says the timeshare will pass to his heirs. I do not want the time share. I called the timeshare management company. They told me I have no option. It is deeded property and it now belongs to me. I was wondering if I could send them a copy of his death certificate and a Disclaimer of Interest via certified mail and get out of owning the timeshare.
